Purpose
The Continuous Improvement Manager will be an integral part of a newly formed group in the company, Business Optimization & Analytics. This team’s priority is to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The individual in this position will be accountable for driving greater efficiency in operations, delivering cost savings, and providing information that will support a company on a path of aggressive growth and transformation. All improvement opportunities should be evaluated through the lens of our customers, directly or indirectly improving our customers’ experience, and support the strategic direction of the company. There will be a heavy focus on analytics- using data to understand business performance, identify problems, and drive decisions. Translating information into understandable and actionable insights is key. This individual must be comfortable with all types of work and environments, including, but not limited to: office/desk work, on the distribution center and print shop floors, data analysis, leading projects, coaching others, and facilitating meetings with senior leadership. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader who is inquisitive, enthusiastic about improving the way we do business, and can create momentum in the organization for operational excellence.
Essential Duties
- Concurrently manage multiple improvement projects from idea generation to sustain. This entails documenting and moving initiatives through the project pipeline, prioritization, utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, engaging key stakeholders, and organizing resources and tasks.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements. Identify opportunities, define current-state, communicate and validate future-state requirements with relevant stakeholders, define measures of success, and track progress/metrics.
- Develop and maintain reports in Power BI to support assigned business functions. This includes dashboards and other data visualizations
- Work with Distribution, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to identify cost savings opportunities and deliver annual savings goal.
- Utilize project management software and other tools to assist management team with Strategic planning and initiatives.
- Grow the company’s capability in advanced automation and data management within the distribution space. Develop and coach best practices and equip leadership with the tools and resources to be successful.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience required in supply chain and/or distribution; experience in various functions is preferred
- Background of leading others through improvement projects or change
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in ERP systems and other planning software
- Extensive experience with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Experience with project management systems and software is a plus
